The Red, White, and Blue Parade is an annual event first started by Benson’s Daycare. Kids decorate bikes, wagons, or anything that lets you march down Main Street. If you prefer to dress-up in typical kiddie parade costumes, you are welcome to do that as well. The parade ends in the City Park and is followed by a free-will offering meal, with proceeds going toward updating and installing playground equipment in the City Park. This is Family Night and kicks off Appreciation Days in Ashby. Following the meal in the park, there will be free family bingo and crafts in the park and a movie at dusk.
