The Community of Ashby will be hosting the first annual Ashby Legacy Awards on Friday, July 16th at 5:30pm at the Ashby City Park. This event will showcase individuals who have made an impactful difference in the Ashby community, past or present. This event will take place during Appreciation Days each year. Community, family and friends are encouraged to attend. Ashby holds a special place in our hearts and we would like to take some time to recognize individuals each year who have left their mark in this amazing community.

We are accepting nominations now, until June 15, 2021. Please print out a nomination form here.

Please send your nomination form to ALF, PO Box 301 Ashby, MN 56309 or email it to [email protected]. You can also drop off nomination forms with Dallas or John at Rylander Insurance Agency in Ashby.

Feel free to nominate more than one person. The nomination committee will vote based on the nomination forms received. We will keep all nominations forms on file for future years.

We will notify the individuals selected, or their family for a memorial nomination. We will post the inductee names on our social media. These individuals will be recognized on Friday, July 16th at 5:30pm at the Ashby City Park. We will have a presentation of awards, a brief message from each inductee or their family, followed by refreshments. The inductees will also be invited to ride on our ALF float in the Appreciation Days parade.
